"Tomorrow marks one year since we lost Sarah, but her spirit lives on in every mural she painted and every life she touched. This photo is from her last gallery opening - look at that smile. She was so proud of her work and the message it carried. I miss her every day, but I know she'd want us to keep fighting for the causes she believed in."

"Sarah changed my life. I was a shy kid from East Oakland who thought art wasn't for people like me. She saw something in my sketches and convinced me to apply for art school. She even helped me with my portfolio and wrote my recommendation letter. I just got accepted to RISD, and I know it's because she believed in me first. I'm going to make her proud."

"Sarah's mural on 14th Street has become a symbol of hope for our neighborhood. Every day, people stop to take photos and read the message about unity and justice. She painted it during the protests, working late into the night because she said art needed to respond to the moment. That mural has sparked conversations and brought our community together in ways we never expected."
